Welcome to AgriFin Digital Groups ("we", "our", or "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AgriFin Digital Groups mobile and web applications, services, content, and websites (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Accounts and Group Roles

When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. If you participate in a Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA) group within the app, your role (e.g., Chairperson, Treasurer, Member) may determine your permissions. You agree to use your role responsibly and in compliance with your group’s constitution and these Terms.

3. Group Data and Responsibilities

Each group is responsible for the accuracy of its records, including but not limited to meetings, attendance, savings, loans, repayments, fines, and welfare/social fund transactions. The Service provides tools for recording and reporting; it does not provide financial advice. You acknowledge that calculations such as interest, penalties, or distributions may be configured by your group’s constitution and administrators.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not use the Service for illegal activities or to violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any accounts, systems, or networks.
• Do not upload or transmit malware, harmful code, or content that is abusive, defamatory, or infringing.
• Respect privacy and only process personal data you are permitted to handle within your VSLA group.

5. Fees and Payments

Certain features may be offered via subscription or paid plans. Prices, billing cycles, and cancellation policies will be presented at the point of purchase. By subscribing, you authorize us or our payment processors to charge your designated payment method in accordance with the selected plan.

6. Third‑Party Services

The Service may integrate with third‑party services (e.g., analytics, communications, payment gateways). Your use of such services is subject to their separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third‑party services.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service (including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, and revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

8. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of content and data you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display such content solely to provide and improve the Service. We may aggregate and anonymize data to generate insights and improve features.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to other users or our systems. You may stop using the Service at any time. Certain provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error‑free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
